Forgive me if I seem a little out of it. I’ve been technically dead for the last few hundred years.

2 LUCY		
Anyway, I’m not completely convinced the 24th  century is as cool as TV shows made it out to be.

Lucy is standing on the bridge of the space ship, messing with her iPod - oblivious to everything around her. There’s some space ships battling on the large view screen, and ‘red alert’ lights are flashing.

1 LUCY (VO)			
I guess all the flashy technology and space ships are pretty rad.

2 LUCY (VO)			
You know, once you get over the fact that everyone  and everything you ever loved is dead.

3 LUCY (VO)			
Worst of all,  my mp3 player is pretty much useless now.

Lucy is sitting at a table, eating some noodles with chopsticks. Gaffer is sitting on one side of her staring at her with that vacant dumb look. Klurm is sitting to her other side acting all disgusted. She’s just eating her noodles and kinda ignoring them.


1 LUCY (VO)			
Robots and aliens are cool for like, the first few minutes you meet them.
 
1 LUCY (VO)			
But, sooner or later you realize that they’re just as stupid and rude as everyone else.

Lucy stands on some strange alien landscape, reluctantly holding the movie ‘clap board’ - she looks totally bored. A few feet away Orson is holding the film camera about to shoot, but his attention is turned away to Nik, as they’re having some conversation about shooting the scene. Gaffer is standing there somewhere holding the boom mic, with that dumb vacant look on his face.

1 LUCY (VO)			
And on top of all that…

2 LUCY (VO)			
…my job can be really boring sometimes.
